Somerset Rec Club Board of Directors is voted upon every year at the general meeting. Most positions are a two year commitment. The Board of Directors meet once a month throughout the year --- it may be the most fun you ever have.

Letter from the President

Dear Somerset Rec Club Members and Friends,

The 2010 Season is almost here and your Board & Staff are committed to improving the Rec Club as your summer headquarters for family recreation. New this year, we are making a significant investment to upgrade the pool drain system to comply with the federal Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act. Few older pools have yet complied, so we will have one of the safest pools around! Plus, the tennis courts are being resurfaced to help improve our tennis program.

The Swim Team is excited for the second season with our great Head Coach Erica Sorenson and Assistant Chris Bendix. We'll have swimming and tennis for the whole family, adult lap swim, swim and tennis lessons, tennis team, water polo, water aerobics and more. We will bring back our popular social activities including the 4th of July Potluck, Casino Night and Movie Nights. The key is you! We want your family to join us again this year, or for the first time, and enjoy the benefits of the Rec Club. So don't delay, get signed up for a great year at the Somerset Rec Club.
