Our Membership
The Somerset Recreation Club is a non-profit, membership-owned community swim and tennis club with season memberships that begin in early May and end Labor Day. Membership is limited to 240 families and the club facilities are rarely crowded, giving all members an opportunity to participate in the activities of their choice. Children's activities include swim and tennis teams, as well as lessons offered by qualified instructors. The Somerset Swim Team is in Division II of the Midlakes Association.
Also, the club offers a variety of family and adult social activities throughout the season. A snack bar is located near the pool. Family barbecues and birthday parties are frequent pool-side events during the summer. The clubhouse is available for rental by members and non-members.
Pool Guests
Guests may use the pool facilities a maximum of once every other week (i.e., once every 14 days), and must be accompanied by a member.
Members must sign the log for themselves and the guest log for their guests, and pay the designated guest fee when entering the pool. A single guest fee encompasses both pool and tennis court usage.
House guests visiting for a week or longer may use the pool facilities by paying the designated weekly guest fee and notifying the Club Manager. House guests must be registered at the Pool Office.
A maximum of seven (7) guests per family membership will be allowed to use the pool facilities at one time. Exceptions must be approved by the Club Manager.
