SRC Membership

The Somerset Recreation Club is a non-profit, membership-owned community swim and tennis club with season memberships that begin in early May and end Labor Day. Membership is limited to 240 families and the club facilities are rarely crowded, giving all members an opportunity to participate in the activities of their choice. Children's activities include swim and tennis teams, as well as lessons offered by qualified instructors. The Somerset Swim Team is in Division III of the Midlakes Association.

Also, the club offers a variety of family and adult social activities throughout the season. A snack bar is located near the pool. Family barbecues and birthday parties are frequent pool-side events during the summer. The clubhouse is available for rental by members and non-members.

Dues & Fees

Membership Fees

• Family Membership: $525
• NEW Adult Membership: $200 for a single person / $300 for a couple. The adult membership is a full membership designed for empty nesters, retired residents, and young couples pre-kids to swim, play tennis, and join our social events.
• Initiation Fee: $150 new members, waived if membership dues are paid on or before May 7th
• Referral Credit: Receive $100 for every new family referred to the club
• Maintenance Credit: $100 refundable to previous members who volunteer in a 4-hour work party

Swimming

• Swim Lessons: $75 (2 weeks, M-F 1/2 hr); $100 non-members
• Private Swim Lessons: $25 per 30 minute session
• Sharkies: $115 per swimmer
• Swim Team: $115 per swimmer
• Swim Team Volunteer Deposit: $75 refundable after working shifts
• Jr. Swim Team Member: $265 per swimmer (must be 15 yrs old by 6/15/11)
• Friday Swim Clinics: $10 per swimmer

Tennis

• Tennis Lessons (5 & 6 year olds): $90 (45 min, 2 weeks M-Th); $180 non-members
• Tennis Lessons (ages 7 & older): $115 (1 hr, 2 weeks M-Th); $230 non-members
• Additional Team Practice: $10 per week or $50 for the full season (Wednesdays 2:30 pm)
• Cardio Tennis Boot Camp: $10 a session
• Private Tennis Lessons: $30 per 1 hour session; $40/2 players; $50/3 players
• Tennis Team: $185 per player for 6 weeks
• Jr. Tennis Team Member: $335 per player (must be 15 yrs old by 6/15/11)
• Somerset Cup Tennis Tournament: $20 entry fee adults & $15 for youth

Water Polo

• Water Polo Team: Free for swim team members; $75 non-swim team players
• Wednesday Scrimmages: $5 - open to all
