What TO DO...
- If you would like to sign up for a volunteer slot please email Barb Lall.
- If you have questions regarding the water park outing please email Julie Waddell.
- If you have questions regarding photo day please email Traci Grouws.
- Our goal is for every volunteering family to receive their "volunteer deposit" back at the end of the season. Please help us ensure that the volunteer jobs are filled by showing up for your shift and logging in at the volunteer sign-in table that will be located in front of the pool office at every home meet. At the away meets, any one of us if not all three of us will be around the pool area with a clip board to ensure the "away" volunteers get signed in.
- If you are volunteering for a 1st shift position you must arrive a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the meet (5:30) so you can get checked in and receive any information you may need for your shift i.e. timing watches, heat sheets, etc.
- Every family (except families whose children are only swimming on the Sharkie team) needs to volunteer for at least 5 dual meet shifts.
- We will be doing call-outs for help with donut Fridays and pancake Fridays as another way to help meet volunteering requirements.
- We need Stroke/Turn Judges, click here for more details.
Did you miss the Parent Meeting? Well, you're in luck because we've documented what Coach Erica had to say and also what our Parent Rep. Kim Smerekanych had to say.

Somerset Swim Team Philosophy
The Somerset Swim Team program works to provide a positive learning and growing atmosphere for all team members. The coaches constantly work to help swimmers enhance all four competitive strokes, improve racing techniques, build self confidence, become good team members, and learn that winning and succeeding are not always the same thing. The Somerset Swim Team hopes to provide motivation, instruction, fun times, and support for all team members.
