Hello Somerset Rec Club!
My name is Kristen Wiegardt and I am beyond thrilled to be your Tennis Program Coordinator for this summer! My love for tennis began when I was 12, taking lessons and playing junior league for Almaden Swim & Racquet Club in San Jose, CA. From there, I played four straight years of varsity high school tennis for Leland High School, going undefeated three straight years, becoming multiple Blossom Valley League Champs.

I graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a BA in English in sunny southern California in 2007, and just made the huge Pacific Northwest move to Washington this past Sunday!

The move, although difficult in a 4-Runner crammed with stuff and a boyfriend who won't stop whistling, was a blessing...and this summer will be no different! Nothing is better than a summer filled with amazing weather, friends, family and tennis.

I look forward to this opportunity to pass on my love of tennis to your families for Somerset Rec's STAYcation! See you all at the Open House!
